Back to the Future...

It was great to see you all again on Friday night... hope you enjoyed the night as much as we did , well from all your laughing, smilies and talking it sure sounded like you did!!!:)

On Friday night our theme was Back to the Future, first we played some crazy and fun games like Touch Riot, Fridge box relay, and Balloon Squirt. We then got into group and had a discussion with our leader about what our dreams and desires for the future our. Each one of you wrote down a goal for a job, money, family, physical health and your relationship with God. We had some interesting and great ideas shared by you.

After some more fun and wacky games like the grab grub relay adn Banana Mush and the Tube Cram we all sat down for a small talk given by Martijn. He spoke about what you would each like the future to look like. We all want a ' nice' future and no one plans for a horrible one. Martijn pointed out that many things that we do now will effect what happens in our future. For example if you want to go over to uni and study you need to make sure that you are already doing well at school and doing your homework. If you don't want to be into drugs and smoking , you will soon have to say NO to your freinds or peers who offer them to you. You need to make the right choices already now.

Martijn also pointed out that there is some one who is in control of every thing in our future and that is God. So if you want to have peace about your future, even the things which you can not change you can accept God and His Son the Lord Jesus Christ in your life and put your trust on Him alone.

So don't forget that and remember to make good choices already now as that will effect your future...

FUN Night :)

Friday night at DZ was just a FUN night, during the school holidays we always have one DZ night and that is a game and FUN night.

Well we sure had FUN on Friday night, had a neat bunch of you turn up as well as us Leaders - Martijn & Stephanie, Wayne & Karin and we welcome Richard ( a new support leader). Check out the FUN we had......
