Yo Bro!

Hello every one,
Sorry a little late on the post about last week.. it is almost this week Friday, just had a few issues with our internet at home and could not get the photos to upload but well i'll try again now and other wise it is no photos this week.. sorry.
well Friday night was a great night

Once again, thanks to all of you who turned up and also welcome to our new friends. And Cohen we hope you had a great birthday party on friday night !! :)

Yo Bro was all about put downs and compliments and and we all agreed that we would rather have compliments than put downs... just wondering how your weeks are . How is the challenge that Wayne gave you actually going? Remember Wayne challenged you to give no put downs this week only compliments... love to hear how it is going .

We had some great fun games too, like the paper war which was pretty neat and the best thing was we got to burn all the paper in the fire after, while Wayne wrapped up the night's thoughts in a short talk.

How to make Friends.....

This week Friday night we talked all about HOW TO MAKE FREINDS!!, so by the end of the night we were all a great bunch of freinds :). and some of us really were sniffing around the place !!! that is cause we learnt a new word - SNIF that is SMILE, NAME, INTEREST and FAMILY, as a great way to get to know some one new and make a new freinds. Well done to Jordin and Martijn for your great role play. Thank you.

We had some super fun games...... Jelly Bean trade where we were all given 10 jelly beans and we had to try and get 10 of the same colour. no one seemed to be collecting red??? but well done to those of you who got 10!!! or Paige who got 12 ... how does that work????

and poor Madline who got a a number of pieces of hair pulled out for the find some one who game . and thanks for the back rubs guys!!!

and not to forget the talk about having JESUS as a special freind. Martijn told us a story about how Jesus made freinds with the Samaritan Women, as she was at the well getting water and Jesus had a common interest with her as they were both looking for water, but Jesus was talking about living water which is eternal life with out an end, which we must all seek for.

don't forget to use SNIF when you are some where new and trying to make new freinds. And don't forget to bring your new freinds along to Drop Zone. C u next week .

It was great to see you all again on Friday. A very special welcome to those of you who came for the first time - hope to see you there again and again and get to know you real well.

Friends - who needs them anyway?? One of the worst things that we can imagine is having no friends. A life with no friends doesn't feel like a life, but we also discussed that in the long run - bad friends are worse than no friends. So let's remember to look for 'good' friends, and also LOOK AFTER YOUR GOOD FRIENDS BY BEING A GOOD FRIEND.
